Ricky has been managing forestry projects and educating the public about wildfire for Ciudad SWCD since 2022. Ricky comes to Ciudad with over 10 years of experience in wildfire fuels management, conservation corps management, and disaster response coordination. Ricky is also an ISA Certified Arborist and operates a small tree service known as Ricky Digs Trees. After earning a BA in Environmental Studies from Temple University in Philadelphia, the region he was born and raised in, he headed west. When not working to increase the pace, scale, and efficacy of forest health projects Ricky enjoys spending time outside with his dogs.
