Construction of ADA Sensory Trail Invitation to Bid (ITB)

Ciudad SWCD would like to establish a Price Agreement to procure construction services for building an ADA sensory nature trail at the Tijeras Bio-Zone Education Center, a City of Albuquerque Open Space Division property.  Ciudad SWCD is seeking services from a qualified landscape vendor to construct a multi-sensory universal designed trail, that also includes graduated challenges to allow individuals to push their limits to meet their goals. The construction of the ADA sensory nature trail will include grading and drainage earth work, construction of stabilized crusher fine trail, installation of trail edge, construction of asphalt parking space, the installation of various trail features, and more.  

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held in person at Tijeras Bio-Zone Education Center 15600 Central Ave SE, Albuquerque NM on Monday, July 1st at 11:30 AM  MST.

Per Addendum No. 1, sealed bids must be received no later than 12:00 p.m., local time, July 23rd, 2024.

Electronic submissions are required. Bidders should submit bid documents to astrid@ciudadswcd.org. Bids will be time-stamped when Bidder’s email is received. If an amendment is processed after bid is submitted, Bidders must resubmit their bid in order for it to be considered fully submitted.

Hazardous Fuel Reduction Contractors Request for Proposal (RFP)

RFP.  NO 2024-0001-3478

The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified businesses for Wildland/Urban Interface (WUI) hazardous fuels reduction and forest health programs.  Ciudad Soil & Water Conservation District (Ciudad SWCD) plans to enter into a Professional Services Agreement (APPENDIX D) with successful Offerors  as a result of this request. 

The Ciudad SWCD is seeking the services of forest health contractors to perform fuels reduction/forest and watershed health treatments on private and public lands along the Sandia and Manzanita  Mountains and Cottonwood Bosque within the District’s boundaries. These services will be performed as part of Ciudad SWCD’s East Mountain Forest Health Program, Hazardous Fuel Mitigation, and Wildland-Urban Interface projects. The District will define general work plans for each type of treatment, in collaboration with the NM State Forestry Division and the US Forest Service Sandia Ranger District. 

The contractor will implement individual prescription plans for fuels reduction on specified parcels within individual project areas and are required to successfully treat premises as outlined in such prescription plans. All work will be on a will-call basis.

Proposals must be submitted by Monday, July 29th, 2024 at 5 PM MST.
