Walk and Talk - Tijeras BioZone Remediation
We’re excited to invite you to the Tijeras Creek BioZone Education Center off historic U.S. Route 66 (see map below) at 1:30pm for a special site visit and planning session. Come experience the transformation firsthand as we walk the newly constructed, ADA-certified trail and explore the green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) installed just this May and early June. This is a chance to see the early stages of restoration and reimagine what’s possible for this unique open space.
After the tour, we’ll gather to discuss future GSI opportunities for the BioZone and share ideas for continuing this momentum.
Please Email Annie Montes at annie@ciudadswcd.org with questions.
Please Bring: Water, hats, sunscreen, layered clothing. It will likely be warm and we will be entirely outdoors.
