New Mexico Unidos: Common Ground Rally

The New Mexico legislative session is in full swing, and our public lands face crucial decisions. As lawmakers debate the future of our natural heritage, we need to show them who their constituents really are – the hunters, hikers, climbers, cyclists, and countless others who cherish these lands. As privatization threats to our public lands intensify, we must show our legislators that New Mexicans stand united against any attempts to transfer these lands out of public hands. This is our moment to stand together and make our voices heard!

Please join us for "New Mexico Unidos: Common Ground" on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Roundhouse in Santa Fe. Your presence will help demonstrate the incredible diversity and unity of New Mexicans who depend on and cherish our public lands. We'll gather in the West Concourse from 12:00-2:00 PM, followed by a powerful speaker program in the Rotunda from 2:00-3:00 PM.

Come dressed to show your connection to public lands! Whether you wear your hunting gear, climbing rope, hiking boots, or biking jersey – show legislators that these lands unite us all. Registration is not required, but if you plan to come, please RSVP [here] or on Facebook.

These are YOUR public lands – the places where you create memories, find solitude, pursue adventure, and connect with our state's rich heritage. From our highest peaks to our lowest grasslands, they sustain our communities, provide a stage for our adventures, and help us find common ground.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Roundhouse!

P.S. Share this email with family, friends, and colleagues who love public lands. Every voice matters!
