Description:

Gardening season is upon us and we can't wait to host our 3rd Annual Garden Expo. Visit with gardening experts from all over the metro area. This event is free and open to everyone!
15 Garden and Wildlife experts are confirmed. Raffle prizes for Kids and Adults. Seeds and Seedlings to get your gardens started. Gardening Crafts for kids and adults! Fun for Families and ALL AGES! Bring seeds, seedlings, and plants to swap!
Vendors and Crafts begin at 10am--1pm.
Presenters begin at 9am - 2pm:
9am - Madeline Gurney (Sandoval County Cooperative Extension) Herb Blending Demonstration, with samples.
10am - Kelvin Schenk (Farm Coordinator - Rio Grande Community Farm) Gardening Under Solar Panels: Preserving Vulnerable Planting Beds from High Heat
11am - Mario Nuño-Whelan (Landscape Architect/Pland Collaborative) Residential Rainwater Harvesting
12pm - John Zarola (Bernalillo County Master Composters) Home Composting Basics
