The New Mexico State Forestry Division provides grants to municipalities, schools, and organizations for tree planting projects under the NM Forest Re-Leaf Act, (68-2-29 to 68-2-33 NMSA 1978). All proposals must be reviewed and approved by the applicant’s local Soil and Water Conservation District.
